Some patients achieve their desired result after one treatment, while others may require additional sessions. This depends on the amount and location of filler being dissolved and how the area responds to treatment.

In some cases, Hylenex® can be used to target a specific area of unwanted filler rather than dissolving everything. However, because filler can spread within tissue and hyaluronidase can affect surrounding HA filler, precise spot-dissolving isn't always possible. Your provider will discuss what can realistically be achieved based on your anatomy and the filler present.
