VIVO Beauty Bar Announces Opening Day on Small Business Saturday

There is no better day for the grand opening of a local full-service "beauty bar" salon than on Small Business Saturday. VIVO Beauty Bar (VIVO) announces the opening day on Saturday, November 24th, located on the Riverwalk in downtown Cuyahoga Falls. VIVO will bring a variety of different salon services to the Cuyahoga Falls area striving to make everyone feel beautiful and empowered when stepping out of the salon.
From 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Small Business Saturday, VIVO will provide guests with champagne, mimosas, wine, beer and delicious hors d'oeuvres. In need of a salon service? Look no further, as VIVO is providing guests with 15% off all services and products on opening day, as well as 10% off any appointments booked that day for future appointments booked in 2018.
"We were inspired by the redevelopment of downtown Cuyahoga Falls, and decided this would be the perfect location to launch our new brand," said Samantha Sharpless, co-owner of VIVO Beauty Bar. "We have a really amazing team of #beautytenders and are excited to grow in the momentum of this area."
VIVO was assembled by designer and co-owner Mike Roe, who is a recent graduate of the Kent State School of Architecture.
"'VIVO' or 'sharp' in Italian, was inspired by the 'bar' culture in Italy," said Sharpless. "Coffee bars were family owned businesses located on every street corner. They allowed for a small break during the normal course of the day. VIVO pays tribute to this daily tradition in a new interpretation."
VIVO will be offering a wide array of hair "bar services", including the "color bar" where guests will be able to have a seat, grab a drink and get their hair colored by a professional hair colorist; "wash & dry bar" for those who are looking to get their hair washed, cut and blown out; and a "nail bar" where guests can get a mani or pedi service while chatting with their girl friend over a glass of wine. VIVO is not your typical hair salon; their unique "bar service" names are themed around a traditional bar menu. You can choose from "The Refill" or the "Straight Up" hair color, as well as the "Well, Premium or Top Shelf" manis and pedis. Soon, you'll want to have one of everything on the menu.
VIVO Beauty Bar is located at 1749 Front St., Suite A in downtown Cuyahoga Falls. The normal hours for VIVO are Tuesday-Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m.; Friday-Saturday from 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; and its closed on Sunday and Monday. Beauty Bar Inspired Salon Coming to Cuyahoga Falls Area

Hey beautiful, a new salon is coming to town! A beauty salon like none other is headed for the Riverwalk in downtown Cuyahoga Falls. VIVO Beauty Bar (VIVO), a full-service “beauty bar” salon, will be bringing a variety of different salon services to the Cuyahoga Falls area to make everyone in the area feel beautiful and empowered when stepping out of the salon.
The 2500 square foot salon located at 1749 Front St., Suite A, has been designed from the ground up to create an environment where you are able to go in the salon, receive a “bar service” and leave feeling like your best self, all while enjoying a glass of wine or champagne. With 10 styling and cutting stations, 4 shampoo stations, a 10 person color bar, and a four seat nail bar, VIVO has the ability to accommodate a large atmosphere of people all at once.
VIVO will be offering a wide array of hair “bar services”, including the “dry bar”, a “blow out” type hair service where clients will be able to come in to get their hair professionally blow dried; “color bar” where clients will be able to get their hair colored by a professional hair colorist; “wash bar” for thoses who just want to get their hair shampooed; and your typical “style bar”, which consists of a shampoo, cut and style. VIVO will be offering a few more salon services, including a “brow bar”, “nail bar” and “bridal bar”.
“We are beyond excited to finally see our dream come to life,” said Samantha Sharpless, owner of VIVO Beauty Bar. “We have spent countless hours in the designing and construction phase of this project, and we are thrilled to finally be able to share it with the community. VIVO Beauty Bar will be like no other experience around.”
